SUCHO

I was one of the co-founders of Saving Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Online (SUCHO), a rapid response web archiving project in response to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

SUCHO has won several major awards, including Europa Nostra Cultural Heritage Champions in 2023 and the Karl-Preusker-Medaille in 2025. It has served as a model for subsequent rapid response initiatives, including Data Rescue for US public data.
